I don't generally like to babble on about myself so much, specially in writing as i often look back and go '..oh dear'.
In regards to photography i recently had hit a little bit of a dry spot. I really want to take picture of people without the playing up to the camera. So many times i had thought "wow,I have a fantastic idea on how I could represent this very scene, here and now!" but I tried to whip out the camera and people either act upto it and stick there tongue out or such or they ask 'what in gods name are you doing? Put that thing away'.
So I havnt had much luck with that really.
But another door has opened for me in regards to photography! I received an email just today from a lady called Carla from DV8 magazine based in London and in Bournemouth!
So offered me a position as a Photographer for there magazine in the section in which i take photos in clubs and such then the magazine prints them and people can buy the pictures if they spot them selfs or there friends!
Its been going for a good few years now so must prove successful. I am really excited about this position and cant wait to go out there and snap some people for DV8
Not much else really in other news. Cant think of anything exciting.
I think after i finish writing this I'll just find a random photo that i wouldn't have thought of submitting then submit it. Just for the hell of it.
(can you tell how bored i am?!)
Well thanks for taking the time out of your life to read my first Journal.

thanks

The building is sadly no longer standing. It is a real shame, it was on the Quay not far from the bridge over to Hamworthy.
Its a bit sad to see the Quay being renovated and losing alot of its character.
It was part of the 'Working Quay' and has been knocked down and is currently being converted into flats of some sort.
I am part of an art collective that meet up to discuss improving, encouraging and developing art in the area.
We meet once a month and are very enthusiastic about creating a gallery/permanent arts fair/open mics etc etc...
The next one is on Oct 11th 07 at Scaplens Court Old Town Poole.
Its a great chance to meet some great people, have a drink and get involved with the community.
Its a really exciting time to be an artist in Poole/Bournemouth right now - so get on board!
